Rental Policy

• Insurance: You must provide a standard certificate of insurance listing Film Faction Inc. as loss payee and additional insured as well as list the deductible amount, at least 48 hours prior to check out. A security deposit either in cash, certified bank check or credit card authorization for the amount of the insurance policy deductible must be received upon rental.
• Payment: Cash, certified bank check or credit card for the rental amount must be received prior to checkout. All rental charges incurred are subject to an 8.325% New York sales tax unless a valid NYS Tax Exempt Certificate is provided.
• Rental Guidelines: To reserve equipment, a deposit via credit card authorization, cash or certified bank check must be submitted for the full rental amount; otherwise the equipment's availability will not be guaranteed.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within three days prior to checkout will be assessed 1/2 the total rental fee. Cancellations within 24 hours prior to checkout will be assessed the full rental fee.
• Returns: Any and all equipment returned after the expected date and time of return will be charged for that day at the standard daily rental rate. All security deposits will be returned by mail or cancelled after all equipment has been returned and checked by one of our technicians. The cost of any lost or damaged equipment will be charged according to the new replacement cost and repair cost.
